A Movie You Will Want to See
Well – I had not planned on making any more posts today but I received an email about this movie and it looks like it’s going to be FANTASTIC! Lately this blog has been more about marriage than business but we have to keep marriage first or business success is hollow!
So get your friends together and make it a date night!
Do You Know Anybody About to Get Married?
I found this great book and signed up for their free 33 questions….I’ve learned more about AJ in the last few weeks than in the last few years! I thought I knew him well after 15 years of marriage and dating but it was really interesting. Check it out:
Book Review 1000 Questions For Couples
One of the biggest reason marriages end in divorce is because couples fail to ask the big questions before they walk down the aisle.
If couples simply spent some time asking each other the questions that really matter, they’d greatly increase their chances of staying together.
The great thing about a “question book” is that it makes it easier to ask those difficult questions and encourages an environment to address them.
But is Michael Webb’s “1000 Questions For Couples” the right book for this?
In short, yes. Most question books ‘beat around the bush,’ never really providing the important questions, and others simply don’t have enough questions.
On the other hand, Webb has put together the most comprehensive collection of questions, covering every single topic you’d ever want to know about before tying the knot.
It includes tough subjects like money, children & child rearing, career, past and present relationships, religion, morals, convictions & beliefs, personality, and even sex.
But don’t get me wrong while there are many serious and tough topics to discuss, there are also many “lighter” yet just as important topics, including the car and driving, vacations, food and well being, pets, and your favorite things.
That’s one thing I really loved about this book. It covered every conceivable topic from the super serious to the light-hearted and fun, making it easy for couples to start with easy questions and build their way up to important ones.
Also, a great bonus is having the ability to deliver 3 – 5 of the questions to my email each day, making everything automatic. I just go about my day and get new questions to ask my loved one, without having to really think about it.
In all, there’s nothing really negative I can say about this book. It delivers exactly what it says and covers every question you would ever want to ask your loved one.
I highly recommend this book for everyone. NOT just couples who are thinking of getting married but also couples who just want to feel closer together, or people dating, who just want more things to talk about.

Isn’t there an acceptable CRM anywhere?
I’ve been searching for 2 days now for a software program or affordable online solution to my contact management needs. I know that people are not being followed up on and things are dropping through the cracks! I’ve searched and searched and nothing is coming up. Does anybody in the e-world have any suggestions???
How to Get the Sleep You Need
Well – I realize I haven’t been here in a few days…I’ve been very focused on building my business! I’m GOING to get this newsletter out today! Speaking of newsletters, here’s some great information I ran across about sleep….
Did you know that not getting enough sleep can cause you to not be able to lose weight? WHO NEEDS A NAP! I subscribe to the Blaylock Wellness Report (askblaylock@newsmax.com) and recently he gave us several tips on how to get the sleep you need.
If you think you might have a medical problem though….BE SMART…it takes a real man to go to the doctor!
1. Always try to go to bed at least by midnight. Staying up late resets the biological clock and can disrupt sleep patterns.
2. Keep the room slightly cool.
3. Make sure the room is dark. In my room I have 2 alarm clocks and a security system light that I have to cover up!
4. Try playing soothing music on a low volume at bedtime. I have a sound machine that plays a light rain so that it blocks out all the extraneous noises that might wake me up.
5. Avoid reading or watching television at least one hour before bedtime. The theory behind this is that you need time to wind down. I haven’t quite been able to pull this one off yet!
6. Some people will become hypoglycemic during the night, and this will wake them up. Avoid sugar and sweet foods in the evening. Try some protein or turkey without the bread. Turkey is high in L-tryptophan, which puts lots of us in the sleeping mood!
7. Avoid caffeine, smoking and all foods containing excitotoxins. If you don’t know what excitotoxins are, just do an internet search on the word and you’ll get a college education on the subject!
8. Avoid sleeping late and naps during the day. I never said these suggestions would be fun!
9. Exercise earlier in the day. Since exercising revs up your metabolism, this can keep you awake so stop before 7 pm.
10. Take supplements that are designed to help you sleep. I’ve been taking calcium and vitamin c most nights and on the rough nights I have a product through my company called Prime Dreamz that works unbelievably. (You can read about Prime Dreamz through this link.)
YAWN!!! All this talk of sleep has made me tired so I’m going to go get some rest!
